To create your very own homemade cleaner, simply combine 1 cup of water with ¼ cup of baking soda in a bottle spray.

- Follow recommendations – Floor manufacturers will give you advice on how to keep vinyl flooring looking fresh. Follow their recommendations as much as possible before trying out a new cleaning agent or cleaning method.
- Carry furniture – When you are rearranging the furniture of your living room or any part of your home, be sure to carry it as the interaction of its legs and the flooring can lead to scratches. You can also put padded tabs underneath the legs for convenience.
